Yesterday, Amit Gupta had a great suggestion to include thumbnails on Video posts in the Dashboard:
I love Tumblr, but I almost never watch the videos people post. But I click on photos to see the bigger version all the time.
Video posts could really use a still frame to give you a peek at what’s inside.
Anyone else feel this way?
We were already doing this with videos uploaded to Tumblr. Now we’ll also show thumbnails next to YouTube videos.

I had assumed it was a technical issue or to encourage Vimeo usage. Glad they added this in, very handy.

Login limit increased
We’ve just increased the number of allowed simultaneous logins from 3 to 5.
This means that you can be logged into Tumblr on 5 different browsers without having to re-enter your email address and password. This is handy if you want to use a home computer, a work computer, a mobile phone, and a laptop — or if you use multiple web browsers on one computer.
As always, you can manually log out from any of the 5 locations without affecting the others. Changing your password will log you out from all other browsers.

Also helpful if you have a script doing automatic reblogs that logs in every hour or so. I really need to get that working again…
Chinese artist Li Wei creates art that proves to be impossible. How does he do it, you ask? Performance art and photography is what creates these dangerous illusions. He also uses props such as metal wires, mirrors, scaffolding and acrobatics to help him with the effect. The artist states that none of these photos use Photoshop.
