You ever have one of those nights where you actually get to sleep but then ALL your dreams are the goddamn worst? That was me last night. I actually woke up this morning and thought to myself, “wow, what a consistently shitty night of dreaming”. My mind clearly enjoys fucking with me.
I had the same thing last night. I typically don’t remember dreams but my allergies are...

Taking Mom & Dad to Slumdog Millionaire was a gamble, but I’m relieved to say it paid off.
Just did the same and had the same result. Great movie.

Writing like a girl
ponymalta:
I just went back through my statement of intent for McGill and deleted two out of every three uses of “I hope”, “I feel”, and “I believe”. Makes it sound all wishy-washy. Like that socially-conditioned tendency to apologize when someone else walks into you.
I do the same thing in my writing. I always used a lot of words like “supposedly” “apparently” etc. and...

Regarding the comment about my family, I love them all and enjoy spending time with them but I end up getting bored, especially during the day when half my family goes to work. That is all.

I just met John Hodgman, Jonathan Coulton, and Meaghan. Ironically, meeting Meaghan was the most awkward since it’s a little hard to not sound a bit creepy when you introduce yourself to someone you recognize from the internet.
Ha! Dude, are you kidding me, that was pretty much the most badass moment of my life… when you walked away JC was like- You’re famous, too!

Okay, so, I am kind of irritated with the Internet. Because even though we are constantly talking about relationships, and old loves, and unrequited loves and blah blah blah on the Internet, I hardly encounter people who are happy and content with being single. I guess that’s just boring or lacks conflict or something.
Most of the shit on the Internet...

A pretty neat game that requires you to solve puzzles and design characters by drawing images in the real world, and then scaning them back into the game world.
