marco: Bill Israel: If your employer isn’t encouraging you to grow intellectually, they’re encouraging you to stagnate, inside and outside of the office. You have to get out of that cubicle. Working on it…seriously.
While walking through Vegas casinos last week, I asked Kelly what theme she would pick if making her own over-the-top casino. Her answer was retro future (think Disney’s Future World) and mine was steampunk. I think both of these could be fantastic and I was curious what other people’s answers would be so reblog this post with your own answer.

No Hands On the Wheel →
A decent article covering Tartan Racing and the events of the Urban Challenge which I attended back in October. It’s always weird reading articles or books about people and events that you know. There’s also a brief mention and blurb with my friend Jason who I just convinced to give Tumblr another try.
Rogue NBC sports reporter Penn Holderness circumvents NCAA restrictions by reenacting the game himself, with puppets.
…and I’m back. Things may still be slow as I catch up on everything but I’ll hopefully be able to make it up with a couple things I have planned for later this week.
Tomorrow morning I’ll be leaving for vacation so the site may be pretty quiet for a week or so.
Greatest George Clooney Story Ever →
He may be pulling in $12 million a picture and deified by women worldwide, but George Clooney is apparently not above digging around in cat shit for the sake of a good joke. Classic, must read. Via junesix.

Math is nuts
bg5000: malty: UNBELIEVABLE MATH PROBLEM Here is a math trick so unbelievable that it will stump you.Personally I would like to know who came up with this and why that person is not running the country. Grab a calculator. (you won’t be able to do this one in your Head) 1. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the Area code…) 2. Multiply by 80 ...

Just checked my site stats and noticed a rather large jump over the weekend. Turns out I hit the radar but coincidently, since my very own radar blog was down at the time, I never realized it.
How much of the cave is underground?

"What's on Tumblr?" running again →
My radar reblogging site is running again after a weekend down. Turns out it was a simple, but non-obvious, fix as Tumblr suddenly started checking referers.

What's on Tumblr? →
For anyone who wants to see what hits the Radar without contiually checking the front page, this site is for you. It checks every hour for new posts and automatically reblogs them so you can get the content in your dashboard or you can pull the RSS feed. Due to some limitations, it’s only reblogging the image posts for now but I already have plans to remedy that. Also, you may notice that...
Pontiac ad is glorious homage to Spy Hunter (Note to dashboard readers: the video gets a bit cut off.)
Tim Schafer
We’ll get this out right away, I love Tim Schafer and his games. For those unfortunate souls unfamiliar with the name, this man made The Secret of Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, and Psychonauts. Granted he only wrote 1/3 of each of the Monkey Island games but that’s one hell of a record. I’ve played...
