There’s a great sub-Reddit called IAmA where various people post what they are (I Am A….) and have people “Ask Me Anything.” The above linked thread is one of my favorites to come out of IAmA with a ton of interesting and insightful (no pun intended) questions and answers.
Most interestingly, because of the poster’s type of injury, his eyes still functioned but his brain could not process it but some other part of his brain could still process if an object were in his way or thrown at him and he could react.
